What perfect days to start tracking!!  Brena (7 mo) had never tracked and it was time to get her started.  The days were to windy for me to video the first two days.  This is 3rd time to track but I wanted to get video of the shorter 20 to 30′ straight track as things will start to change now.  Brena is not real food driven… I was glad she made tracking a simple thing for me… as you will see in this video clip… I put on my hiking boots to lay the track… Brena had never seen me wear those before until tracking and she did this last time we tracked also… once I started her on the sent pad… she moved over by me to smell my boots…almost to say I smell that sent on this pad…hummm yep those are the boots  haha  now a food driven dog… especially one that hadn’t eaten breakfast yet as Brena, would have never done that, they would have been after the food only!!  It also distracted her when I went to pat her on the side…at the beginning, but I believe she will be a good tracker…. and she loves the end with the tug… which helps move her right off the track on to something else so she won’t attempt to go back to look again.  I have a feeling she will be doing a Sch 1 track in no time.
