Cindy,
I am so glad when I saw this I sent this to you and you posted this to the blog. When I saw this, I had to send it to you and David as I knew it would touch you both as it touched us. I am sure it will touch many others that read the blog.
Beth and Ysidro,
I was glad you sent it thanks! Just goes to show what an awesome breed the GSD is, not to mention it is a herding breed, military dog, police dog and best family dog there is, that is why we have had them over 35 years. Thanks again for sending it.

Hi Danielle,
I tried to find information on that also and couldn’t find anything… however I did find a link that has lots of monuments http://www.cpwda.com/k9_monuments.htm
it takes a long time for the page to load but I was surprised there were so many.
OK I couldn’t help but notice the dogs do not have a long expectancy on their memorial. What happens to them? Retirement? Death? Do they not last long with a badge cause of all the dangers?
This video gave me the sniffles by the way!
OH WAIT! Omg I should have mentioned this sooner but there is a movie about a dog in war. I believe its called, CHIPS THE WAR DOG.
